Emily Mark

Biography

Emily Mark is a poet and writer from upstate New York, USA, with a passion for travel, vegetarianism, and saving animals. She pursued an English degree at university before realizing life is too short to put your dreams on hold and went to live in China where she studied philosophy and history in Tianjin. After falling in love with traveling, she backpacked across Western Europe, marveling at the history that surrounded her. Eventually she decided to go back to school for Veterinary Technology and now is a Licensed Veterinary Technician in an Emergency and Critical Care unit. Emily currently lives in Upstate New York and is on her second rescue Min-Pin with the hopes of many more.
