Biography
Simeon is a freelance visual designer and history educator drawn to the forces that shape individuals, societies, and the stories they leave behind. His fascination with history traces back to his roots in an ancient town on the Danubian Plain, where layers of Thracian, Roman, Slavic, Bulgarian, and Ottoman pasts still resonate beneath the landscape.
His path has ranged from commanding an anti-aircraft platoon to studying Indian linguistics, architectural design, monument restoration, and urban conservation. Living and working in the United States, Belgium, Poland, and now Switzerland has further broadened his perspective, deepening both his teaching and his visual storytelling.
Simeon believes that every image should tell a story and every map should invite a journey. Through his work with World History Encyclopedia, he aims to inspire others to explore the past with the same curiosity, rigor, and sense of wonder that guide his own creative process.
