Ellen Pastorino

I am a Journalism student at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Since I was a child, I have been an avid reader and I developed a substantial inspiration to learn new languages, by studying different cultures, art and literature. I believe that the study of history allows us not only to learn about our past, but also to know how to interpret the role of humanity over time. In essence, history is a living science and I believe that learning new languages is fundamental to exploring the society we live in from a broader perspective and from different points of view. From historical knowledge, we can seek new questions.
