Biography
I am French born and raised, and I first discovered history at school. I, however, chose to become a linguist, not an historian, more specifically a translator. With this objective in mind, I went to university in France and in London. Today, after many years spent working in customer care and translations I still read historical novels and history websites with the same pleasure as I did growing up.
I love history very much because beyond the cold facts, there are lives, people, achievements, milestones for humanity as well as inhumanity and all of it with more twists and turns than in any novel. History is even more powerful than fiction and can be read as the novel of mankind, what a topic!
