Fabio Sappino

Biography

Fabio is a PhD student in International History at the London School of Economics (LSE). Before joining LSE, Fabio was honours student at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna di Pisa (Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies), where he earned a Master in Political Science. At the University of Pisa he obtained both his Bachelor in Political Science and his Master in International Studies. He also spent a period studying Law at the University of Vienna. He currently works on the history of Italian colonialism and on Italian Fascism, with a particular interest in the relations between Islam and the West. Fabio enthusiastically joined WHE as an trainee because he strongly believes in the opportunity to share, in an accessible and non-academic language, his enthusiasm in historical research with other passionate readers.
