Biography
Thomas S. Garlinghouse was born in Laguna Beach, California, and received his Ph.D. in anthropology (with a specialty in archaeology) from the University of California, Davis. Since 2001, he has worked as a cultural resource management (CRM) specialist in Santa Cruz, California, where he specializes in faunal analysis and report writing. In addition to his CRM work, he is also a freelance writer who has written articles for magazines and online publications.
