Biography

Markus Neumann is a historian specializing in ancient history, ancient mythology, and economic history. During his studies, he worked under Bochum-based economic historian Professor Werner Plumpe at the Chair of Economic and Financial History. He is currently a librarian at the Institute for Banking and Financial History e.V. in Frankfurt am Main.

He worked at several archeological excavations, including neolithic and Roman excavations in Germany and France.

His area of expertise are Roman and Greek social structures and political rhetoric.
