Foundation Figurine of a Kneeling God Download Full Size Image

This is a bronze foundation figurine, which was found in Southern Mesopotamia (modern-day Iraq), depicts a kneeling god holing an inscribed peg. It dates back to 2144-2124 BCE. (Pergamon Museum, Berlin, Germany)
