Mongol Warrior Reconstruction
This recreation shows the typical equipment of a mounted warrior of the Mongol Empire (1206-1368 CE). Mongol warriors were equipped with helmets and fairly light armour, made of leather or felt. This flexible armour could be reinforced by adding strips of metal or hardened leather.
