Giulia Martis

I am an Italian translator based in London. My translation work focuses mainly, but not exclusively, on tourism, art and archaeology, social sciences and children's literature. I hold the CIoL Diploma in Translation as well as an MA and a BA in Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures from the University of Bologna, and a high school diploma in Classics. I am an etymology, sociolinguistics, and astronomy enthusiast. Since a young age, I have been curious to discover how our ancestors used to live and think, and have always been deeply fascinated by how, regardless the progress made by society through the centuries, certain aspects of human nature have not changed. My work background includes education and administration.
Fun fact: the study of Ancient Greek and Latin sparked my passion for translation.
