Server Costs Fundraiser 2023

Running a website with millions of readers every month is expensive. Not only do we pay for our servers, but also for related services such as our content delivery network, Google Workspace, email, and much more. This Gallo-Roman altar was donated by Quintus Nicennius in honor of the Celtic goddesses of the crossroads. The worshiping of these deities dates back to the era before the Roman occupation of Gaul and what is now present-day Switzerland. This specimen is made from stone and dates from the 1st century CE. It was found in Windisch, Canton Aargau, Switzerland. (Landesmuseum, Zürich)
