The sculpture of the mythical winged horse Pegasus stands on a dark marble pedestal beneath large sunlit trees. The statue is located right next to the ancient city of Adramytteion in the Ören neighborhood of the Burhaniye district, Balıkesir, Türkiye. The inscription on the statue states that Pegasus was depicted on the coins of Adramytteion for 300 years. It is known as a symbol of honesty, humility, and poetic inspiration.
