The title page from a 1542 edition of Canterbury Tales by Geoffrey Chaucer (1343 - 1400 CE). This edition was edited by William Thynne (c. 16th Century - 1546 CE) and is one of the most valuable surviving manuscripts, containing also The Plowman's Tale, which was not included in Chaucer's original manuscript.
The manuscript is currently part of the Special Collections of the University of Glasgow, UK.
