It costs $20,000 a year to run our servers, and we need your help to pay for them!

Many events can be said to have changed history, and not everyone might agree with all of those chosen for this collection, but – undeniably – these twelve would appear somewhere on anyone's list:
There are, of course, many more – including the rise and fall of the Achaemenid Empire, the conquests of Alexander the Great, the Mughal Empire, the Protestant Reformation – but the following collection will only address aspects of the twelve above.
