Herennius Etruscus (Artistic Facial Reconstruction) — View Full-Size Image

Herennius Etruscus (r. 251 CE) ruled jointly with his father Decius for less than a year. Herennius and his father led legions into Moesia to deal with the Gothic king Cniva, but the Goths got the better of both Herennius and his father at the Battle of Abritus in 251 CE, killing them both.

Pictured alongside the reconstruction are the portraits used as references, including a possible bust of Herennius Etruscus (top right), a definite coin portrait of Herennius Etruscus (bottom right), a suspected bust of his mother Herennia Etrsucilla (top left), and a bust of his father Decius (bottom left).
