Una Kavazovic

Una has been interested in languages, teaching and translating since her elementary school days and has constantly kept up with new and interesting methods and information in this line of work. She has started working as a Swedish and English SL teacher during her University days and later started showing more and more interest in translating, most notably from English and Swedish into Serbian and Bosnian.

She holds a BA in Scandinavian languages, literatures and cultures with English as her second foreign language as well as an MA in program Language, literature, culture with her final thesis focusing on Machine Translation. She is a graduate of Faculty of Philology, University of Belgrade.

Besides working as an English translator for Accounting Chamber of Serbia
for 2 years, she has also been translating from English into Serbian and
Bosnian for TED Talks and Translators Without Borders since 2022 as she believes that volunteer work is still a very important element of spreading information and knowledge all around the globe which is exactly what WHE does when it comes to history.

She loves exploring new things, traveling, reading and listening to pop music while being surrounded by her cats.
