Mike Toth

I have a BA in Greek and Roman Studies/Classical Civilizations. My favourite classes were those on Greek and Roman myth and poetry. I am especially interested in religious rites and rituals, and how mythological stories are used to explain aspects of culture. I am also particularly interested in the Viking Age and early medieval history generally. As a kid I was always interested in history (my first area of interest were the two world wars). I'm not sure why, but it seemed to be one the things that stuck. Other than that, I spend most of my free time playing guitar, reading, or spending time in nature.
