Evan Axel Andersson

Hello! My name is Evan Axel and I am a Ph.D. candidate in History at the University of California in Santa Barbara where I research and teach Late Roman philosophies, religions, and society. In addition, I teach courses on writing and composition. I hold a B.A. in History from Cornell College (2016) and an M.A. in Late Antique and Byzantine Studies from King's College London (2017). My current work focuses on the Oxyrhynchus papyri, magic, and social networks.
