The Maison Carrée, Nîmes, France. This ancient Roman temple was constructed around 4 to 7 CE and dedicated to Gaius Caesar and Lucius Caesar, the grandsons and adpoted heirs of Emperor Augustus. It represents the best-preserved Roman temple facades today.
