The Kyaiktiyo Pagoda (also known as Golden Rock Stupa) is a 24-foot-high (7.3 m) stupa built on a boulder 25 feet (7 m) high and 50 feet (15 m) in circumference on the edge of a cliff 3, 600 feet (1,100 m) above sea level in the Eastern Yoma Mountains of Myanmar. The stupa was built in 574 BCE, but its origins are obscured by legend.
