The statue of the Mongolian general Bo'orchu (c. 13th Century CE), in front of the Mongolian Parliament House. Bo'orchu was one of the most trusted generals of Genghis Khan (c. 1206 - 1227 CE), and later, a close friend of Ogedei Khan (1229 - 1241 CE). The statue of Bo'orchu was set up in front of the Mongolian Parliament House in 2006 CE to commemorate the 800th anniversary of Genghis Khan's unification of the Mongols in 1206 CE. Statues of Genghis Khan, his sons, and his other generals, were also created at the time.
