Bone Awls from Ain Ghazal Download Full Size Image

These bone awls were made from animal bones and were polished to suit the purposes of weaving. They were also used for piecing and sewing leather. Neolithic period, 10200 -5000 BCE. From Ain (Ayn) Ghazal, Amman, Jordan. (The Jordan Museum, Amman, Jordan).
