The Romanaqueduct at Nicopolis in Epirus, Italy. Nicopolis was founded in 29 BCE by Augustus (r. 27 BCE - 14 CE), and is notable for being the home of the philosopher Epictetus (c. 50 CE - c. 130 CE) after his exile by Domitian (r. 81 - 96 CE).
