Rawia Zarrouk

Biography

English Literature student at Manouba University in Tunisia, with a growing interest in the ways history, culture, literature, and society intersect. My academic background in English Literature has encouraged me to look beyond texts themselves and explore the historical and cultural contexts that shape them.

I am particularly interested in how stories, ideas, and cultural traditions reflect the experiences of different societies and how the past continues to influence the way people understand the world today. This interest has led me toward broader areas of history, cultural studies, and international affairs.

Alongside my studies, I have developed experience in public speaking, educational activities, communication, and volunteering. I currently lead a public speaking club at the American Corner, where I design interactive activities and help participants develop confidence in presenting, storytelling, and communicating their ideas. I have also participated in volunteer and educational initiatives that have strengthened my interest in working across cultures and sharing knowledge.

As a contributor, I hope to combine my background in literature and communication with my curiosity about history and culture, producing accessible and engaging writing that encourages readers to look at the past from different perspectives.
