Biography
Originally from Scotland, I developed a deep fascination and appreciation for history through exploration of historic Edinburgh. Museums and architecture, embedded with centuries of cultural and political change, inspired me to pursue history and political science at university. My experience at university further stoked my interest in researching history in my free time.
When I'm not writing for the World History Encyclopedia, I enjoy reading, learning languages, and painting. I am mostly proficient in German, though I have studied Italian, Japanese, and Korea to some extent.
