The vessel is a replica of a Salado Polychrome bowl built by artist Bill Freeman. The original vessel was probably made from around c. 1350 to 1400 CE along the Salt or Gila Rivers in Arizona. This model was produced in collaboration with Archaeology Southwest with special help from Dr. Doug Gann, Ph.D.
