The Great Isaiah Scroll, unknown author, Qumran, c. 125 BCE.
This scroll is one of the most important manuscripts of the Hebrew Bible, containing the entire Book of Isaiah (apart from a few damaged parts). The writing in Biblical Hebrew reads: "And on that day the Lord will thresh from the river Euphrates to the Wadi of Egypt, and you will be gathered one by one, O people of Israel. And on the day a great trumpet will be sounded, and those who were perishing in the land of Assyria and those who were driven out to the land of Egypt will come and bow down to the Lord in the holy mountain at Jerusalem."
