The entrance hall of the Museum Building at Trinity College Dublin, designed by the architectural firm of Deane, Son & Woodward, 1853-1857. Photograph by Sena Bolek, 2025.

The hall houses large pillars, balustrades, and bannisters crafted from a range of Irish marbles and Cornish serpentine. A domed roof is constructed from enamelled bricks in blue, red, and yellow hues, with patterns influenced by Byzantine and Islamic design. Irish plant-inspired carvings are found on the capitals of the columns.
