Located on the second floor of the Château d'Amboise, Amboise, Loire Valley, France, the Orléans Room, which was once used by Louis-Philippe, Duke of Orléans (reign 1830-1848), is decorated in the 'Empire' style that was all the rage at the time. The 'Récamier' bed stands proudly in the centre of the room.
