An 1838 portrait by Eugène Delacroix of the Polish pianist and composer Frédéric Chopin (1810-49). The portrait is a detail of a painting also featuring Aurore Dudevant (1804-76), better known by her pseudonym George Sand. (Louvre Museum, Paris)
