Farnese Hercules
Hercules was a demigod and hero in Roman mythology. He was the son of Jupiter and was worshipped as a god in his own right. Hercules was exceptionally strong, and he was often depicted as a musclebound athlete or boxer. He was frequently depicted carrying a club and wearing the skin of the Nemean Lion.
