Ceres
Ceres was the goddess of fertility, agriculture, grain and harvests. She was one of Rome’s most popular goddesses, and her annual festival, Cerealia, was highly important. She was a part of the Aventine Triad of gods, along with the wine deities Liber and Libera. Ceres is often depicted crowned with wheat or carrying bushels of grain.
