Meeting in Massawa of Emilio De Bono (1866-1944) and Pietro Badoglio (1871-1956) during the Italian-Abyssinian War. De Bono and Badoglio were commanding the military operations of the invasion of Ethiopia (1935). Emilio De Bono was the Italian commander in the first phase of the invasion of Ethiopia in 1935, but was replaced by Pietro Badoglio due to the slowdown of the advance.
