Biography
Marco Canton is an MA historian (Bologna University) specialised in Late Antiquity and Early Medieval period. During his career of studies, he developed a great passion for digital geopolitical maps. He also collaborated with different associations, like H.F.C. (Humanities For Change), Appears (association of cartographers), S.I.S.M. (Italian Society of Military Studies). He is currently working on a PhD research proposal in a topic regarding the militarization in the Post-Roman times and the phenomenon of armed retinues.
Education
- 21/10/2021: Bachelor degree in History at the University of Venice (ITA).
- 02/07/2024: Master degree in Historical Science at the University of Bologna (ITA).
