Jeff He

Biography

Jeff He is passionate about the history of human thought and cultural heritage. Since beginning his university studies in 2024, he has been interested in Philosophy and Classical languages, with particular interests in Indian philosophy and Indo-European linguistics. He believes that philosophy and historical linguistics complement one another in exploring the intellectual traditions of the ancient world. Thus, his way of thinking would combine the methodologies of philosophy and linguistics. Although this interdisciplinary approach presents its own challenges, he hopes to pursue it throughout his academic journey. His current interests include Early Vedic, Homeric Greek, the interaction between Buddhism and Hinduism, and topics regarding Indo-European Linguistics, particularly phonology.
