David Moura

Biography

David Moura was born in 1985 in the countryside of São Paulo, Brazil. Raised in a family of missionaries serving with Word of Life, a global non-denominational Christian organization dedicated to evangelizing and discipling youth through Bible-based camps and ministries, David grew up immersed in cross-cultural and faith-based environments. His formative years were marked by participation in summer camps and periodic furlough trips to the United States every four years, experiences that deeply shaped his worldview and intercultural communication skills.
David earned a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Business from Tennessee Temple University, where he developed a strong passion for the English language. During his undergraduate years, he began exploring translation work, which would later influence his professional pursuits.
Today, David is an English teacher with over a decade of experience in language education. His background reflects a lifelong engagement with language, culture, and faith-driven education, combining academic training with a commitment to cross-cultural understanding and communication.
