Biography
I am a professional translator and educator with a background in Modern Languages and Geography. I mainly work with academic and educational texts in the fields of History, Human Sciences, and Environmental Studies, translating from English and Spanish into Brazilian Portuguese.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Modern Languages/English, as well as both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Geography, with a focus on environmental planning. I have taken part in academic exchange and research programs in Peru and Germany. In terms of professional experience, I have been teaching languages and geography in public and private institutions for over six years.
I have always had a strong personal interest in History, especially in how historical narratives shape our understanding of societies, cultures, and space, something closely connected to Geography. Translating historical texts allows me to combine my academic background with my passion for the Humanities, making this work meaningful and rewarding.
