
Biography
Anabel Evora is a seasoned fundraising consultant and nonprofit strategist with over 15 years of experience driving transformational growth for mission-driven organizations. With deep expertise in major gift cultivation, donor stewardship, and campaign strategy, she blends the art and science of philanthropy to help nonprofits meet – and exceed – their goals.
Her mission-driven, impact-focused approach consistently delivers tangible results. Anabel has held leadership roles at national and local nonprofits including Remote Area Medical, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, The Everglades Foundation, and the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. She began her career organizing a benefit dance marathon for the AIDS Foundation of Houston, earning a place on their Wall of Honor. She later served at the White House under the Clinton administration and with the Human Rights Campaign.
Anabel holds a Master’s in Fundraising and Grantmaking from NYU and a bachelor’s in public relations and marketing. She is a member of Hispanics in Philanthropy, and the Association of Nonprofit Professionals.
Born in Puerto Rico and of Cuban descent, Anabel is also an intuitive abstract painter. She believes: “Authenticity is at the core of building powerful relationships. It is a trait we must possess to help advance ideas for the greater good of humanity.”
