Alice Rowe

Biography

Alice is a freelance Copywriter and Book Publicist, who works with authors and experts to promote their books and amplify their voices. After four years in industry, she is returning to academia to complete a PhD in Classics and Ancient History. Her research area is contemporary feminist retellings of ancient Greek myths, with a focus on the reception of liminal female figures like Circe, Persephone and Medusa. Her short story, Mnemosyne and Her Muses, was shortlisted for WHE’s Ink of Ages Fiction Prize 2024. Alice's passion is learning about different countries, histories and cultures through literature.
