June 29, 2007. The first iPhone went on sale in Apple Stores. Crowds lined up for hours to experience Apple's revolutionary smartphone - a touchscreen device that combined a phone, an iPod, and the Internet in one, transforming communication.

About the Author

Nicha Sursock
Egyptian born Lebano-Croatian artist, born in 1951, currently residing between Vienna and Split in Croatia. Studied film direction in Brussels and started a career as an illustrator in l'Orient-Le Jour, a leading Lebanese daily and le progrès égyptien.
