Nadira Banu Begum (1618-1659) was the daughter of Sultan Parviz Mirza and wife to Prince Dara Shikoh, heir apparent to the Mughal throne. She died in travel during the turbulent war of succession that would see her husband executed a few months later. Her tomb, depicted here, was constructed in the late 17th century in Lahore, modern-day Pakistan.
