This 11th-century Byzantine seal is presumed to be the official seal of Eustathios Rhomaios (DUMBARTON OAKS BZS.1958.106.5598). The date as well as the title and office on the seal match those of Rhomaios. It is 33 mm in diameter and has a field of 24 mm. This is the Obverse side of the seal and reads:
Κύριε or Θεοτόκε βο]ήθει τῷ σῷ δούλῳ
meaning Lord, or Theotokos (Mary), Help you servant
