Crockett's knife is on display at the San Jacinto Museum of History at the San Jacinto Battleground State Historic Site in Harris County, Texas. After his tenure in office as a Tennessee congressman, Crockett joined the Texas Revolution, where he would perish at the Alamo in 1836, cementing his role as a mythic figure in American folklore.
