Located at the intersection of Bay Bridge Road and Bay Bridge Cutoff Road in Mobile, Alabama, this sign marks the historic Africatown community and highlights many of its constituent neighbourhoods as they are known today: Plateau, Magazine, Happy Hills, Kelly Hills, and Lewis Quarters. The site lies on the Dora Franklin Finley African-American Heritage Trail of Mobile.
