Two bronze statuettes from Enkomi dated to the early 12th century BCE, Cyprus Museum. The statuette on the left is the so-called “Horned God” which depicts a deity portrayed as a young athlete wearing a horned helmet. The statuette on the right is the “Ingot God” which depicts a figure standing on a base in the form of a copper ingot. The god is represented bearded and wears a horned conical cap on his head. He is armed with a round shield and a spear.
