Biography
I first discovered history at school and immediately fell in love with it. However, I loved languages even more, so I chose to become a translator instead. With this objective in mind, I went to university both in France and in London. Today, after many years spent working in customer care and translations I still read historical novels and history websites with the same pleasure as I did growing up.
I love history because beyond the cold facts, there are lives, people, achievements, milestones for humanity as well as inhumanity and all of it with more twists and turns than in any novel. History is even more powerful than fiction and can be read as the novel of mankind, what a fascinating topic!
