Keffie says, "I have a Ph.D. in Archaeology and am currently on the faculty in the Classics Department at UMass Amherst. As an archaeologist in the field for over 10 years, I have worked at sites in Italy, Israel, Turkey, and Jordan. In addition to my academic focus, I am interested in bringing the past alive to a more general public. For 2 years, I lived in Rome and worked as a tour guide, and recently had my first on-camera experience in a documentary on Petra for NOVA"
