David W. Tollen is one of the technology industryâ€™s leading authorities on software and Internet contracts. He is the author of the American Bar Associationâ€™s bestseller, The Tech Contracts Handbook: Cloud Computing Agreements, Software Licenses, and Other IT Contracts for Lawyers and Businesspeople (ABA Publishing, IP Section 2015). And he is the founder of Tech Contracts Academyâ„¢, which provides training on IT contracts, and also of Sycamore LegalÂ®, a boutique law firm in San Francisco.
In addition, David is a multiple award-winning author of fantasy novels that teach history and science. His first work of fiction is The Jericho River (Winifred Press 2015), which uses fantasy to teach history. It won first prizes at both the Next Generation Indie Book Awards and the London Book Festival. It also won a bronze medal in the Readers' Favorite Book Reviews and Awards Contest, among other honors. Davidâ€™s second novel is Secrets of Hominea, which uses fantasy to teach history and science.
