Biography

I am an Adjunct Reference Librarian at City University of New York-Herbert H. Lehman College and New York University, I hold both a Master of Arts in History and a Master of Library Science to provide research support and instruction to students. I have over two years of experience in this role, where I have developed strong research and teaching skills in a fast-paced academic environment. In addition to my work at Lehman College, I am also an Adjunct Reference Librarian at New York University, where I teach Library Instruction Workshop to introduce NYU Libraries to newcomers. I am passionate about helping students discover new sources of information and develop their critical thinking skills. I am always eager to learn new technologies and methods that can improve my performance and contribute to the advancement of knowledge.

I have experience using primary sources for writing scholarly papers, and have done research across disciplines, including political science, philosophy, literature, law, library science, business and history. I am very skilled at using information technology and am able to quickly learn how to use new technologies. I am also a voracious reader of the news, and I am always fascinated to learn new developments in current events and politics.

I love Ancient History because it is so distant, so different from the world we have today, yet strangely similar. It is where we come from: our ideas, culture, religion, language, etc. I also love the challenge of piecing together the past.
