# Baktrija

Baktrija je bila provincija Persijskog carstva koja se nalazila na teritoriji današnjeg Avganistana, Uzbekistana i Takidžistana.

Nakon poraza persijskog cara Darija III, Baktrija je nastavila da pruža otpor Aleksandru Velikom, i to pod vođstvom Besa koji se proglasio Darijevim naslednikom.
